Ministries and Programs

Our Mission: Together we spread the Word of Jesus Christ by serving others.

 Let's Build Something Together!

Through worship, service, and education, we build our relationship with God and one another. Everyone in our community benefits when our church family works together to put our time and talents to good use. So, what's the first step in our new "building project"?

WEB -  Women of Ebenezer
The Ebenezer community receives a "web of support" from this group of caring members who weave their magic to get things done both within and outside of the church walls. Some of the WEB's most recent projects include supporting renovation projects at the parsonage, kitchen clean up, and fund-raising for charitable donations.

Fun and fellowship are also a hallmark of the WEB's activities. Mystery dinners, silent auctions, and social events all help keep this group of faithful women in touch with each other and God's work.

Be on the lookout for upcoming events announced in The Enlightener and the online church calendar.

Sunday Church School Stewardship
We were very grateful for the response of Ebenezer members and friends toward our SCS Stewardship program. Thanks to everyone’s efforts and generosity we have recently donated $200.00 to the "Nourish" program of ELCA World Hunger Relief. Our donation will be earmarked to help establish community vegetable gardens.

There is so much to LEARN about hunger in our world .... please watch and listen for more information coming your way as Sunday Church School kicks off this fall as the children share what they are learning and educate us all about what we, as Christians, can do to help.

Our ministry to the community - local and global - is supported and enhanced by our connections to the larger Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

Windham Area Interfaith Ministry

WAIM's mission is "to uplift and unite our community by providing caring service and resources to meet our neighbors’ needs with dignity and respect." This faith-based organization supports area residents with free clothing, heating assistance, furniture, and other resources while working in conjunction with other area public service agencies. WAIM is an outgrowth ministry of many local churches and an important part of who we are as a community. Click here to learn more about programs and how you can get involved.

 You can help!
Midwestern flooding and storms and the recent Japanese earthquake have caused numerous humanitarian crises around the globe. Learn more about the ELCA Disaster Response and how you can lend a hand to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.
